Employee of the Month for September
James “Butch” Amann, Fire Investigator within the Division of Fire Safety, has been selected as the September, 2006 Employee of the Month for the Department of Public Safety. Butch was selected for this award for the personal initiative he has exhibited in working with juvenile burn survivors and children with fire settings behaviors. For the past 10 years, Butch has volunteered at the Missouri Children’s Burn Camp as a camp counselor to help children who have physical scarring from burn injuries cope with their self esteem and self confidence issues. Butch has an unwavering commitment to provide assistance to those children in need.
