| MO State Highway Patrol Trooper Keith Kinsey has been selected as the November, 2006 Employee of the Month for the Department of Public Safety. Trooper Kinsey was selected for this award for the exceptional levels of police initiative and investigative skills that he demonstrated during the month of August, 2006, which resulted in the arrest of four suspects for various felonies and the identification of 19 other suspects who will later be arrested and formally charged for felony crimes. Incidences included discovering an active meth lab in a room at Harrah’s Casino Hotel, revealing check cashing scams at Harrah’s Casino, Ameristar Casino, and the President Casino, and discovering stolen money being played at Harrah’s Casino by a bank robber in an attempt to exchange the money for an electronic voucher redeemable by the casino for clean money. All incidences appeared as somewhat normal, routine matters on the surface but his instincts proved that there was more to the stories and resulted in all cases being solved.
