| Cpl.
Bradley Bearden, Missouri State Highway Patrol, has been selected as the
March, 2006 Employee of the Month for the Department of Public Safety. Cpl.
Bearden was selected for this award for the intuitive skills applied during
an initial traffic stop which has resulted in, to date, four arrests and
the recovery of stolen property in excess of $40,000, in turn solving several
thefts and burglaries committed in Newton County and the surrounding area.
