APPROVED OUT-OF-STATE CONTINUING EDUCATION PROVIDERS

 

If you attended continuing education training recognized by a POST Program of any of the following states, that training may be recognized by the Missouri POST Program as “Licensed Provider” continuing education credit:

Georgia

Kentucky
Maryland
Minnesota
North Dakota
Oklahoma
Pennsylvania

South Carolina
Tennessee
Texas
Virginia
West Virginia

 

To qualify for continuing education credit, the attending officer must maintain a diploma or other indicia, indicating that the officer attended and successfully completed the continuing education course.  In addition, the attending officer must obtain some form of affirmation indicating that the POST Program from any of the above listed states recognizes the course the officer attended.


D.A.R.E. Officer Training Course

Pursuant to 11 CSR 75-15.050, individuals who successfully complete the 80-hour D.A.R.E. Officer Training Course, as certified by D.A.R.E. America, will obtain Continuing Law Enforcement Education training hours, regardless of the state of attendance. The following is the breakdown of the hours to be awarded for this 80-hour course, for a total of 71 hours of CLEE credit:

Since the D.A.R.E Instructor course curriculum has recently changed, this breakdown may change for future out-of-state D.A.R.E Instructor course graduates.
