In major disasters emergency personnel may become overwhelmed making it impossible to help everyone at once. You may end up without food, water, and utilities for days or even longer. You can help emergency personnel by preparing for an emergency through the development of emergency. Emergency plans reduce confusion by allowing everyone to understand their part in defusing and recovering from a situation. Your organization should first develop a plan on how each member will react and care for his or her family, friends, and neighbors. Second, your organization should develop a plan of assisting the surrounding community. Below are links to emergency plan templates and checklists. Please use and modify the plans to prepare your organization for a disaster.
