Jefferson City, Mo. - Gov. Jay Nixon today named Maj. Ronald K. Replogle as the new superintendent of the Missouri State Highway Patrol. Replogle (REPP-loh-gull), a 26-year veteran who rose through the ranks to become commander of the Highway Patrol's Criminal Investigation Bureau, will become superintendent following the retirement of Col. James F. Keathley at the end of February.


Gov. Nixon approves more than $4 million in assistance to southern Missouri communities hit by January 2009 ice storm

State to pay 10 percent of ice storm expenses in 20 counties for rebuilding infrastructure and reimbursing for emergency response expenditures
JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – Gov. Jay Nixon today announced that the state of Missouri will reimburse communities in 20 counties across southern Missouri more than $4 million for expenses incurred as a result of a devastating ice storm in January 2009.
