Director James to Keynote D.A.R.E Graduation Ceremony Friday

JEFFERSON CITY, Feb. 9, 2006-Director of Public Safety Mark James will be on hand to offer the graduation send off as 24 municipal and county law enforcement personnel from across the state will become certified D.A.R.E officers.

Tomorrow’s ceremony marks the first graduation as The Missouri Police Chiefs’ Charitable Foundation was named and certified by D.A.R.E. America as the Missouri State D.A.R.E. Training Center in December of 2005.

As the officers begin working together with parents and schools in educating our children they become invaluable in ensuring a safe and healthy school environment.
