Director James to Keynote D.A.R.E
Graduation Ceremony Friday
JEFFERSON CITY, Feb. 9, 2006-Director of Public Safety Mark James will
be on hand to offer the graduation send off as 24 municipal and county
law enforcement personnel from across the state will become certified
D.A.R.E officers.
Tomorrow’s ceremony marks the first graduation as
The Missouri Police Chiefs’ Charitable Foundation was named and
certified by D.A.R.E. America as the Missouri State D.A.R.E. Training
Center in December of 2005.
These dedicated officers have undergone 80 hours of special
training in areas such as child development, classroom management, teaching
techniques, and communication skills. As the officers begin working
together with parents and schools in educating our children they become
invaluable in ensuring a safe and healthy school environment.

D.A.R.E. Division is dedicated to work with Missouri schools, law enforcement,
and parent’s across Missouri to work united in keeping our children
safe and giving them the tools to make the right decisions.
