Committee to Hold First Meeting under Blunt Administration Tomorrow
ST. LOUIS, December 1, 2005-Missouri Seismic Safety
Commission’s (MSSC) Awareness & Outreach Committee will
hold a meeting at 10 a.m., tomorrow at St. Louis University Campus.
All members of the Missouri Seismic Safety Commission
have been invited to attend the Awareness and Outreach Committee meeting
to discuss earthquake awareness week scheduled February 3-8, 2006.
Also on the agenda are future committee meetings, election of committee
officers and committee membership.
All Missouri Seismic Safety commissioners have been
invited to this committee meeting. The commissioners and the disciplines
they represent are:
MSSC Chairwoman Susan Green (Emergency Management),
Jeffrey N. Garnatz ** (Insurance), Michael Marx (Public Utilities),
Mark A. Hasheider (Fire Protection), Dr. Gregory L. Hempen P.E. (Planning),
Dr. Phillip L. Gould P.E. * (Electrical Engineering), Dr Robert B.
Herrmann * (Seismology), Theodore Pruess P.E. (Structural Engineering),
Thom III ** (Local Government), Rep. Otto Bean Jr. (Missouri House),
and Sen. Rob Mayer (Missouri Senate).
