Gov. Blunt Touts Bus Safety
Recommendations in St. Louis, Kansas City and Jeff City
JEFFERSON CITY, August 30, 2005—The School Bus
Safety Task Force has delivered their final report to Gov. Blunt with
recommendations to improve training, staffing, and equipment ensuring
school buses are transporting Missouri children in the safest possible
means.
In a regional tour, Gov. Blunt will discuss his intentions
on recommendations he plans to pursue based on findings from the Task
Force. The governor will be accompanied by Director of Public Safety
Mark James who chaired the Task Force.
