State Fire Marshal Raises Awareness to the Dangers of Toy-like Lighters during Arson Awareness Week, May 4-10
JEFFERSON CITY, May 5, 2008— State Fire Marshal Randy Cole joins with the U.S. Fire Administration (USFA) and the International Association of Arson Investigators (IAAI) in recognizing Arson Awareness Week May 4-12 with this year’s theme being “Toy-like Lighters – Playing with Fire.”

JEFFERSON CITY, April 21, 2008—“Missouri Firefighter Rick Morris was a selfless, extraordinary hero who always answered the call of duty to save lives and protect communities. Public Safety Officials Attend Swiftwater/Flood Rescue Training, Discuss Importance
ST. LOUIS April 22, 2008—Top officials within the Department of Public Safety were in St. Louis today to meet with firefighters and water patrol officers enrolled in an intensive swiftwater/flood rescue course held at Six Flags theme park.
